Shimono successfully conducted the opera “Kinkakuji”

Shimono conducted the Toshiro Mayuzumi composed opera “Kinkakuji” (Der goldene Pavillon) with the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra on 5 and 6 December 2015 at the Kanagawa Kenmin Hall, Main Hall.
“Kinkakuji” was commissioned by Deutsche Oper Berlin and premiered in 1956. Shimono’s highly energized conducting and a precise interpretation made the stage outstanding.
