Tatsuya Shimono comes to Taipei with NHK Symphony Orchestra

Tatsuya Shimono comes to Taipei to conduct two concerts with NHK Symphony Orchestra on 3 and 4 June.

The program on 3 June features Mozart “Le Nozze di Figaro” Overture, Humperdinck ‘Overture’ ‘Dream Pantomine’ ‘Evening Prayers’ from Opera “Hänsel und Gretel” and concludes with the Brahms Symphony No. 2.

The next day the concert opens with Glinka “Ruslan and Lyudmila” Overture, followed by Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with soloist Mayuko Kamio. Shimono will close the concert with Dvořák Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”.

Both concerts take place at National Performing Arts Center.
